Al-Ajroumiyah - Tatimmate

Learn Arabic grammar, a component necessary to embark on the journey of traditional Islamic sciences learning.

This course is entirely free and is designed for students who want to embark on a journey into traditional Islamic sciences learning, providing them with a foundational understanding of Arabic grammar through the study of Al-Ajroumiyah, a classical text on Arabic grammar. This level will cover the chapters from منصوبات الأسماء until the end of Al-Ajroumiyah, along with complementary chapters not originally covered in the text. Students will also engage in practical exercises of إعراب (grammatical analysis) on the entire last Juz' of the Qur'an.

Course Structure:

  • Class Attendance: Classes will be held every Sunday at 7 PM at Beaumont Leys Masjid.
  • Homework: Completion of all assigned homework is mandatory.
  • Examinations: Regular exams will be held approximately every 3 weeks to assess understanding and retention.

Course Duration:

  • Start Date: Sunday, 14th September 2025.
  • End Date: Sunday, 28th June 2026.
  • Breaks: Aligned with the UK public school holidays.

Requirements for Enrolment:

  • Arabic Comprehension: Applicants must have the ability to understand Arabic to follow the lessons, though fluency in speaking is not required.
  • Memorisation: Applicants should have memorised Al-Ajroumiyah.
  • Motivation: A strong commitment is essential. Remember, great achievements are not attained through mere wishing but through determination and effort.
  • Brothers aged 12 and above only.
