Arabic for Non-Native Speakers

Learn Arabic through a structured curriculum designed for non-native speakers.

This course is designed for those who wish to learn Arabic and deepen their understanding of Islam. The curriculum is based on the renowned series العربية بين يديك, providing a comprehensive approach to language acquisition.

There will be three levels in this course. Students will be placed into the appropriate level following an entry exam.

Language of Instruction:

  • Arabic Only

Course Structure:

  • Curriculum: Based on العربية بين يديك (“Arabic Between Your Hands”), a globally recognized series for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. The course covers essential vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills, with practical exercises and interactive lessons.
  • Class Attendance: Classes will be held every Saturday 5pm at Beaumont Leys Masjid.
  • Assignments: Completion of all assigned homework is required for steady progress.

Course Duration:

  • Start Date: Saturday, 13th September 2025
  • End Date: Saturday, 27th June 2026
  • Breaks: Aligned with the UK public school holidays.

Requirements for Enrolment:

  • Interest in Learning: Suitable for anyone genuinely interested in learning Arabic, regardless of previous experience or background.
  • Commitment: Regular attendance and completion of assignments are required.
  • Motivation: A strong commitment is essential. Remember, great achievements are not attained through mere wishing but through determination and effort.
  • Ability to Read Arabic: Applicants must be able to read Arabic script.
  • Brothers aged 12 and above only.
